Run207 is a all about the local running community. We’re a full time event management and timing company, and runners in our spare time. Often times companies are in this business as a weekend or part-time thing, but we spend all day everyday thinking about racing, and how we can take it one more step. Not only are we working on events all the time, but our staff is out running in events all over New England staying active in the running community.
About Our History
Run207 was originally started with the name Champion Races in 2012 by current owner and director, Andrew Mockler. After only one year in business, Andrew was unable to continue with operations due to military obligations. In 2015 when he was home and running regularly with an old friend, he was convinced to get the business off the ground again. That particular friend was Sean Fitzgerald. Sean, who came in 2nd in the companies first race, has since joined the team. He handles much of the promotion and assisting with race timing. Although the two are some of the youngest in the business, they have more than 25 years of competitive racing experience between them – including collegiate Track and Cross Country. They monitor what’s trending in technology, resources available to athletes, and have a thorough understanding of what athletes are looking for on race day, as well as pre and post race.
Each year Run207 grows a little larger and assists with more events all over the northeast, as well as adding their own events to the mix. They organize some of the most popular events in the area. They’re also bringing new ideas to the running community, such as the Maine Health and Fitness Expo.
